The Electronic Components and Technology Conference is the premier international symposium for presentations on electronic devices, materials, packaging, reliability, and design, sponsored by the EPS Society of the IEEE.
You are invited to submit a proposal for a 4-hour educational short course that provides information on developments, technology and knowledge in the areas described in the ECTC Call for Papers. Please submit a 200-word course description, a course outline consisting of up to 16 bullet items, and a description of your target audience. The proposals must be received by October 19, 2026.
The instructor(s) of each selected PDC course will be given a minimum honorarium of $1,500. In addition, instructors of the selected courses will be offered the speaker discount rate for the conference. Attendees of the PDCs will be offered Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Professional Development Hours (PDHs). These CEUs and PDHs are recognized by employers as a formal measure of participation and attendance in “noncredit” self-study courses, tutorials, symposia, and workshops.
The submission of a proposal represents your commitment to present the course at the conference if your proposal is accepted. Course materials should be submitted for first review by March 28, 2027. Final course materials must be submitted by April 25, 2027. As we have done in the past, these approved PDC files will be distributed to registered PDC attendees by May 28, 2027.
